There are quite a few ways to create a ton of traffic to your affiliate links that will convert to sales.

One of the most popular by far is sponsored listings on search engines.
These include Google Adwords, Yahoo Sponsored Listings and MSN Sponsored Listings.

Google by far is the most popular, but they all work great. There is however one thing you need to keep in mind, they cost money.

Right now the average price per click for the keyword "make money" is around $2.45 per click. You could have 50 people click on your ad and only end up with 2 people buying the product you're promoting. If this was the case, you just spent $122.50 in advertising cost to make a $?? upfront profit.

Again, this is another reason why people fail constantly and then complain that a program doesn't work.

Let's be smart and let's not act stupid. Obviously if this was the case it would have been a very poor business decision.

With sponsored listings, keep in mind that the bidding on keywords is extremely competitive.
To learn how to use sponsored listings properly takes time, effort and money.

Sponsored listings is great form of advertising, just be sure to use it wisely. Test ads properly, use your keyword groups correctly and monitor them at least a few times a day. Everyone should include sponsored listings in their daily schedule. If you don't - YOU'RE LOSING MONEY!

But if you think that sponsored listings are the only way to make money with an affiliate program, you are completely wrong.

There is a reason why some affiliates make $30,000 a month while others fail.
It's called MARKETING!

Even if you have tried them before and they didn't work for you, then you didn't use them the right way.

With these forms of advertising you have to be creative and think outside the box. They are used for repetition which creates traffic.

Here is a perfect example:

If you opened a pizza shop in a town of 30 million people, just hung a sign on the door that said "OPEN" and your location was in a back alley - how many customers would walk in? NONE!

You would have to advertise - put your business in the phone book, mail out coupons, local TV commercials, etc.

Nobody would just walk in right from the start and say "Hey I here your pizza is great and you're running a 2 for 1 special."

You would have to create advertising that is repetitious. A person would have to see your ad a few times before they would order a pizza.

That is what we are going to do with this type of advertising, create a repetitive ad campaign that is loaded with headlines which people cannot ignore. The more ads you place, the better your results will be. We will go over each of these marketing methods one at a time.

Online Classifieds:

This is a goldmine if you know how to use it. I love this method the best, and the great part is over 90 percent of the online classifieds I use are free.

This is where you have to think outside the box.
Some online classified will only allow you to use text, some will let you include pictures and others will let you include html in your ads.

We are going to be using all of them.

By following these steps with online classifieds, you should be making money online within the next hour or two. Please pay close attention and follow along carefully. I know I jump around a lot, but you will see how it all comes together.

Step one for online classifieds:
You need to create a minimum of 50 different headlines for each affiliate program you are promoting. You will see why in a few minutes, but always keep that number in your mind - 50 different headlines.

Step two for online classifieds:
You need to create a minimum of 30 different text ad bodies for each affiliate program you are promoting. Again, keep that number in your mind - 30 different text ad bodies.

Step three for online classifieds:
You want to collect or create 15 different images for each affiliate program you are promoting. Again, here is where you need to think outside of the box. Many are probably confused or thinking what do I mean by images? I mean images, pictures - basically little billboards. Many affiliates think that the banners an affiliate program provides you with for promoting their product or service are just for placing on websites. Wrong! Place them everywhere.

I like to use a minimum of fifteen different images for my ads, but most affiliate programs only provide a few banners. Again, this is where you need to think outside of the box.

When I first started affiliate programs, I knew nothing about creating artwork. I went and bought a cheap Photoshop program and taught myself how to use it within a week so I could create my own ads.

I recommend that you do the same thing, but after you have already MADE SOME MONEY! The program I still use today is Corel, it works great and you can always find it by Clicking Here.

You don't need something fancy, expensive or a program that does a million things. Remember keep it simple - We just want to create mini billboards.
Picture ads pull twice the amount of traffic as text ads, remember this.

The problem with only having a few banners that are provided with most affiliate programs is you would be placing the same picture ad over and over again. We want a minimum of 10 to 15 different images to place and there is a reason for this as you will soon see.

Let's continue - At this point for marketing our affiliate program we have 100 headlines, 60 different text ad bodies and over 40 mini billboard images for our classified ad campaigns. The reason we want to create so many is so we are able to place multiple classifieds without duplicating any same ad.

For instance, when you place an ad on Craigslist, Backpage or any of the other 1,000+ classified sites on the internet, you are usually not allowed to post the same ad twice within a 5 to 10 day period. Again, this is where many fail in trying to promote affiliate programs. They will try to place the same ad twice and get flagged. When this happens, they usually complain about the classified site and continue moaning on how the program they are promoting doesn't work.

A lot of people also say that just creating enough content for classifieds is too much work. This blows me away. You can easily make $10,000 to $15,000 a month by just putting some real effort into many affiliate programs. The biggest killer that prevents people from being successful online by promoting affiliate programs is THEY'RE LAZY!

For any affiliate program, I can sit down with a notepad and create over 50 headlines and 30 text ad bodies within 2-3 hours. It is not as hard as you think, just use common sense and start writing.

Yet, this is one of the main steps that everybody skips. You have to realize, once you have your classified content created - 50% of your work is done. You will use these things for months and they will pay you big. So please do not be lazy and skip this step, it is vital to any affiliate program you join.

The results of your efforts, you are now able to place hundreds of ad variations on classified websites that will not get flagged for being a duplicate ad. You mix and match headlines with text bodies and images and create hundreds of ads that are not the same.

There are times when I have had over 600 ads at one time on Craigslist and Backpage alone.

The more ads you place, the more money you will make.

The more people see an ad, eventually they will click on it.

And with most affiliate programs, once they have clicked on your link they are locked as your potential customer by a cookie being placed on their computer. This means if they do not buy right away, but go back to the site and buy 3 or 6 weeks later - you still get paid.

This is how to mass market with online classifieds, and any person who overlooks this avenue of advertising is a fool. Online classifieds are goldmines for promoting just about any product or service. They have made me more money in marketing affiliate programs than any other source of advertising.

Once you have your classified content built, you can easily place over 100 different classifieds daily in under a 2 hour total time period. Take 30 to 40 minutes and place 30 to 40 ads in the morning, then do the same in the afternoon and at night. Mix and match your ads, so no ad is exactly the same.

Opt-In Email Lists (Solo Ads):

This is another method that is highly effective and very cheap to use.

Opt-In emails are emails that are sent to individuals who have either requested and/or have agreed to accept emails on a regular basis regarding the offering of products or services. This is another area so many people overlook or they think it is a worthless method of advertising because they do not know how to use it.

It never changes, people will try something once and if it doesn't work they complain. It doesn't matter that they most likely designed their email marketing ad completely wrong. It doesn't matter that most people have to see an ad a few times before they will react to it. They expect to do something once and become an instant millionaire. The true fact is many of these people do not do their homework and if they have to do something more than once, it is too much work.

Let me ask you something.
How many times do you have to see an ad before you actually react or respond to it?

This is why we create repetition and design our ads with headlines that attract attention. This way our emails get opened when we use this form of advertising. I would rather spend a few hours a day placing classifieds and sending emails online than working 50 hours a week at a dead end job that pays me only $700 a week.

Opt-in advertising and solo ads work, and they can make you more money in a week than any job would ever pay you.

Do not skip this method of advertising, it will cost you more money than you know.

Many opt-in lists allow you to email daily. And if you total up all of the sources you can use, you would be sending out more than 7 million advertisements for just about 20 minutes worth of work in a day. Use it daily!

These are opt-in list so you are never accused of spamming and your advertisements are delivered immediately. With over 7 million people receiving your emails ads a day, you only need a small percentage to open them to be rewarded greatly.

Print Advertising:

Print advertising is another cheap method of advertising that people overlook constantly.

You will want to do a couple of things first before placing print advertising, and it is another goldmine.

First off, to use this form of advertising I recommend that you get a domain name for each affiliate program you are promoting.
You do not need a website, but you also do not want a long affiliate link printed in your ad.

Here's an example:

Print classifieds are designed to be small, and the more people have to type in to get to an offer will usually result in them skipping it.

Getting a domain name is easy. I use GoDaddy for my domain names and you can check name availability right on their site by Clicking Here. A domain name cost about $8.00 and once you get your domain name you can go into your account and just point that domain name directly to your affiliate link.

This way (using the above example) when a person types in www.YourVanityUrl.com into their browser, they are immediately directed to the site you are promoting through your affiliate link.

Keep in mind that you want your domain name to be short and easy for people to remember. Keep trying domain names until you create one that is available.

Now once you have a domain created and it is set up to redirect through your affiliate link, you are ready to place print advertising.

For print advertising, I personally like newspapers and magazines.

First: Newspapers - your ads are placed immediately and people are actually seeing your ad within a day or two in print. Newspapers do not get read once. They lay around and people browse through them constantly. How many times have you looked through the classifieds in a newspaper? This method also creates traffic fast for your business so do not overlook it.

Second: Magazines - with magazine classifieds your ads are not placed immediately, in fact you are usually waiting about four to eight weeks before your classified will be published and hit the news stand. But there is one reason why I am including it in this section.

With magazine classifieds you are targeting your market. For instance, if you place a classified ad in Small Business Opportunities magazine - you are reaching people who are looking for small business opportunities.

Here are some other examples - If you are promoting an affiliate program for a diet pill, target women's magazines. If you are promoting an affiliate program for satellite dishes, target home magazines. These are target markets, so target them well with a good classified and you will get a ton of traffic.
